In this independently produced black-and-white Yugoslavian film whose independent status made it a novelty for the times when it was made, a pair of young Slovenian filmmakers are trying to stretch out a movie project to a minimum of ninety minutes and must really make an effort to find music to fill the empty spaces with. Usodni telefon je črnobeli, nizkoproračunski slovenski film iz leta 1987. Debitantski film Damjana Kozoleta. Gre za enega prvih neodvisnih filmov v bivši Jugoslaviji. Nastal je pod vplivom francoskega novega vala. Tematizira nastajanje filma in cinefilsko strast. Pri filmu sta sodelovala Jože Dolmark in Stojan Pelko. V glavni vlogi igra Vinci Vogue Anžlovar, v filmu se pojavijo režiser Franci Slak, Alan Hranitelj, Lena Balant.
